Hello All,
I set up a nice web-mail interface with Imp, and was getting mail just fine. I guess it pulls from /var/spool/mail/$USER.
The problem came when I used Pine for the first time on this box. Suddenly, the spool is always empty, and Pine puts it in $USER/mbox, which is fine for Pine. But, this is horrible for being notified at the commandline from /usr/bin/mail about new incoming mail, and of course also for my web-mail interface.
So does anyone know what I triggered by using pine? Some config file somewhere? Luckily, it is only me and not system-wide. I moved .pinerc, and am waiting to find out the results, although it seems that there should be a better solution than removing .pinerc.
