I don't documentation teaches how to uninstall an operating system.
To do so, you back up all configurations you want to save, and back up
your user's data, including home directories and mail spools. (Back up to
CD and verify, for example.)
Then you do a new reinstall of the SuSE which would include possible a new
partitioning and a new mkfs (formating of file system).
Then when finished reinstalling, copy the files back as needed.
