Checked bugs.xmms.org and there were similar problems reported. Looks like
its a bug in the xmms plugin for aRts output. Plugin version 0.6.x. They
have a new one, 0.7.1 posted but it is not in the apt repositories yet. So,
I switched the xmms ouput to the OSS ouput driver. All is working now,
including just clicking links in Mozilla!
