If the UMAX 1220S has 2- 25 pin SCSI connectors on the back, you can
simply plug the terminator into one of them and the 25 pin end of the
cable into the other.

The thing that I have never seen is a SCSI host adaptor card with the
centronics type 50 pin connector on the back. I've seen the 25 pin, the
68 pin Ultra-2/3 SCSI connectors and even an 80 pin Wide SCSI connector
but never the 50 pin. It's just too big and clunky.
