I have an e-Machines that was terribly flaky for a while, but after
about a year of tinkering it settled down to where it behaved
in a stable manner each time I booted it: i.e., it's dead.
This box gave my daughter in law a terminally bad experience with Linux
... They are now very happy with their Windows ME computer. Is that
sick, or what?!
That was three years ago. The no-name 17" monitor that came
with that e-Machines box is still serving me very well.
