.bin is part of the .bin/.cue cd file format (similar to .iso). I believe a
number of programs (nero, cdrwin, etc..) can burn them to discs or use other
applications to extract data off them. Most of the .bin's I've seen are VCD or
SVCD movies/shows/etc... and so can use a vcd extracter such as isobuster to get
at the raw .mpg files contained inside :)
