driver install it, yeah right this is windows we are

Can't argue with you there. I have Win2K on a removable
drive and seem to recall a major pain installing it. Too many
incompatibilities. Had to do it to get some debugging feature
under MSVC6 to work correctly. I did experience the old
internet driver hunt. And Win98 installs are pretty tedious
(reboot 297 times: ready, begin.) Maybe I'm intimidated
because setting up Samba, PHP, MySQL etc. for the first
time was such a hassle. Now that I have the config files I
guess it might be easier. Anyone know where I can get a
cheap copy of RH9.x? I paid full price for RH8.0 and never
used it because I heard major releases are bad.
Its funny, saying anything bad about Linux in this group is
a little like something by brother did years ago: he walked
into his wife's tupperware party (living room full of women)
and told the joke about the transvestite who had to have
half his brain removed to complete his sex-change operation.
They didn't see the humor in it.
