Subject: killing stubborn processes update
Use xkill:
1) Launch a shell,
2) Type "xkill" (and press return),
3) Then "touch" (left mouse button) the X-window you want to kill.
I think of this as the "finger of death" technique and have found it *VER=
Y*=20
effective when some X program seems to get stuck.
