Mike if your box is running good and you don't have new hardware that isn't supported by 2.4.* then I would just wait until one of the deb based distros comes out with 2.6.0 it shouldn't be long. Knoppix releases about once a month and there are about 78 distros based off knoppix, So I'm thinking within a week or two I expect to see a "deb" with 2.6.0. I think we would have seen one sooner except Linus waited 2 days before the holidays to release.
