Fedora Open Office 1.1.0-6 Troubles

Hello,

    Has anyone else experienced trouble with OpenOffice 1.1.0-6 on Fedora core 1? 
I have had problems with the font dropdown menu crashing OO.  And cannot open 
lots of OO documents I have come across.  For example:

This, and several of the other templates on ooextras have given me trouble.
They work fine on my OO 1.1 on my debian box.
