I am going to dodownload a tar-ball

I tried to do that. It flashes, the flag appears nxt to it (indicating that is
the file you have selecte, and then that is it. It will not allow me to click
'update'. I then think (like you) of clicking 'remove'. The text flashes and
the dialog box appears informing me that the process is done, but 'gaim'
remains as it was before I clicked 'remove'.
