A developer for the pkgsrc collection (for building and install software
on a wide variety of platforms) has begun work on making pkgsrc be useful
for building on win32 platforms using mingw32. And pkgsrc already has
wx1Motif (Motif-based implementation of wxWindows 1) and wxGTK (GTK-based
implementation of the wxWindows GUI library).
I use pkgsrc under Linux, BSD/OS, and NetBSD for installing software.
