I run my Myth box on gentoo and it is pretty easy to maintain the only
tricky part I had was getting the right kernel drivers compiled and
loading correctly but that is dependent on what TV card you have. But
once setup it runs VERY well. As Hans mentioned come to the AzPHP
meeting tomorrow to learn more (and even see my gentoo based MythTV box
in action). I can't say too much about using emerge to build MythTV
except that I would expect it to be quite painless because I have been
running CVS Myth for quite a while. But if you are looking for simple
