SuSE 9 DOES support the Radeon 9600. However, only in 2D mode... So, =
after a great deal more horsing around, I managed to get full 3D accelerati=
on working. If anyone is interested, I can give fairly user friendly =
instructions, now...

Have you checked on suse's supported hardware? If the card isn't auto=20
detected then the card probably isn't supported. However, suse 9.0 is =
out=20
and might be supported in that one.
