Subject: Stuff For Sale - PLUGers get first dibs
I have the following items for sale to PLUG members first - after that=20=

it's off to eBay:

1 *New* SGI 1600SW 16x9 Aspect 17.3" LCD Monitor. SGI Black/Cobalt=20
color. I bought this brand-new in the box from LucasFilm (yes, THAT=20
LucasFilm - the inventory sticker is on the back of the LCD as proof)=20
about a year ago and sadly it's never really been used. It has sat on=20=

a desk in my office and just looked really cool. This LCD has an=20
OpenLDI connector on the end, meaning that it can only be hooked up to=20=

a SGI 320 or SGI O2 workstation. HOWEVER! I do have an AGP #9=20
Revolution card that you can put in any PC and you now have a linux box=20=

with a 16x9 widescreen monitor. The display has one pixel that is 'on'=20=

all the time, it's in the lower right hand corner and not noticeable=20
unless you look for it.
If this is attached to a box running linux I have a working X config=20
that I'll email you.
Do a search on eBay for 1600SW monitors - they are only outdone by the=20=

Apple Cinema Displays in my opinion.
Specs:
=95 Viewing area size 17.3" diagonal (19" CRT equivalent)
14.7" horizontal, 9.2" vertical
=95 Resolution Maximum true resolution of 1600x1024 pixels at 60 Hz
=95 Dot pitch, dots per inch .23 mm, 110 dpi
=95 Screen type Thin Film Transistor (TFT) Active Matrix Liquid Crystal=20=

Display (AMLCD)
=95 Display colors 16.7M (24-bit true color, no dithering)
=95 Viewing angle 120=B0 horizontal, +45=B0/-55=B0 vertical with =
antiglare=20
surface
=95 Brightness 235 cd/m2 (maximum)
=95White balance User adjustable from 5,000 K to 7,000 K
=95 Contrast ratio 350:1 (typical)
Anyway, you get the 1600SW in the box with all manuals, software,=20
cables AND the #9 card for $350.

1 Penguin Computing Mid-Tower Workstation. This is in pristine=20
condition, has a single P3/800/100mhz bus processor but is DUAL=20
capable. Bought in 2000. 384MB RAM, 30GB H, SB Live! Audio, 10/100=20
NIC, Viper V550 AGP 16MB Video, Adaptec 1541 SCSI card powering a=20
Plextor 12/4/32 CDRW drive, IDE CDROM, Floppy, matching Penguin=20
Computing Keyboard and a three button Logitech Mouse. $250 PLUS you=20
get the 'magic cardboard box of PC stuff' that has all kind of goodies=20=

in it. I use only Apple and Sun hardware now, so you get all my PC=20
stuff. ;-)

1 Sun Sparcstation 5/75, 128MB Ram, 9GB HD, CD-ROM, Floppy,=20
Framebuffer, type 5 keyboard, vga adapter, etc. This is my retired=20
DNS/DHCP server for the house. Runs Solaris (comes with Sol9=20
installed) Will run Sparc Linux too - Works great. $15

1 Viewsonic GS790 19" monitor, works perfect and is the 'small=20
footprint' model that is as deep as a 17" monitor. Perfect size to sit=20=

on any computer desk w/o the end of it hanging over the edge like most=20=

19" monitors. Used as a primary monitor for less than a year -=20
currently sitting on a desk unused. Bought in 2000. Screen is perfect.=20=

$50

All items are pickup from my home in Chandler near Riggs/Cooper and=20
guaranteed to work. I take immaculate care of all my equipment. Cash=20=

only please unless I've done business with you before - then a check is=20=

fine. ;-0

Any questions, please email me.
