United Linux?

Hello again,
I recall someone saying a few days ago that he was working on a system
running United Linux. I've been wanting to try that distro but unable to
find a download. Is there a free version? If not, how much does it cost?
Does it seem to be catching on or was that another one of those failed grand
designs?
