I am running redhat 9 on a laptop and the screen keeps blanking much
faster then I would prefer. I've checked the monitor settings in
redhat and I supposedly don't have power management turned on.... So
I'm not sure how to stop it from blanking.
This is a Toshiba Tecra 9000, running redhat 9. I have APM support
turned out, so I'm thinking this is what's causing my issues, but I
don't see anything any where for adjusting the screen blanking delay...
I'd prefer to turn it off altogether....
Also, my laptop screen does from bright to medium and then to low all
with out prompting... not sure what controls these settings... anyone
have any ideas how to adjust this?
