Unfortunately most of the X configuration tools aren't smart enough to
figure out what you have, and then update it with the changes you made.=20
That sounds like the case here. When you configured your new monitor,
then X configuration tool also thought it would change which driver your
using (because it doesn't know about the NVidia driver). I think if you
change those two lines in your config file you'll probably be alot
happier.
