Subject: xmms user can't access CDROM (Robert Ambrose)
Robert offered:

>Assuming that there isn't an alternate syntax that I
>don't know about,
>your fstab entry is incorrect.

>It should read
>/dev/cdrpm /cdrom iso9660 ro,owner,noauto 0 0

where I'd supplied mine as:

> My fstab line is:
> /dev/cdrom /cdrom . iso9660 ro,owner,noauto 0. 0

I'd viewed the fstab with Konqueror which threw in the
periods. Using the cat command as directed they do not
appear. I tried Konqueror so that I could copy and
paste into the email, but that had not worked and I
had to type the line in. One of these days I've got to
learn to set up pop mail!

Thanks for all the help,
Alex

you teach a man to fish, he owes you big!
