Subject: Mozilla Straddling Dual-Boot
Hi, All.

I have Win98 dual-booted with Red Hat 8.

Red Hat is enabled to have full access
to the Windows partitions. I'm running
Mozilla under Windows as my mail client.

Mozilla mail works fine for me under
Linux as well, but currently it saves
any messages in Linux-based folders
where I can't see them when I'm running
under Windows.

Is there a way I can set up my Mozilla Mail
folders so that I can boot back and forth
between the two systems, but always be
using the same Mozilla folders? I find
that this is a major reason why I don't
spend more time in Linux!

I've done some hacking on this but can't
see where Mozilla keeps its pointers to
the mail folders. I presume this is
independent of where the software resides,
and implemented compatibly between
the Windows and *nix versions of Mozilla.

Incidentally I'd also like to move my
existing Mozilla mail folders off of my
crowded C drive in Windows, and the same
answer would probably cover this.

Ooh! Ooh! One more thing ...
I'd also like to share my very rich
Mozilla bookmark collection, now residing
under Windows, while browsing under Linux.
The answer may be related ...

Thanks,

Vic
