Weird SSH logs

I'm getting :

Did not receive identification string from x.x.x.x

where x.x.x.x is the local IP address.

I thought that x.x.x.x was supposed to be from "scanning" machines and not locally.

I'm updated and this started all of a sudden at 11PM last night and continues every 10:09 seconds.
