magical thread changes

I would like to speak for myself, but I suspect
I am not the only one on board here:

I follow this group by thread, I think quite a few people do.
When posting to the group, please do not change the topic in the middle
of a thread: Start a new message.

It is either that, or my mutt program is hosed.
