I need some advice on my latest project.
I have an antique radio cabinet that I got at a yard sale. The radio is
long gone, but I just like the way it looks. The idea for this project
is to mount a motherboard in the old radio drawer and make this into an
mp3 player that will also display family pictures on a flat panel
monitor. I plan to make a frame around the monitor and just sit it on
top of the cabinet. I have a Via ME6000, which is a fan less mini ATX
board with a surface mounted processor running at 600 Mhz. I have a
notebook 40 gig hard drive and a brick power supply. So the computer is
almost completely silent.
I have loaded Red Hat 9 on this system and its running well.
What I need some help with on is the software that will run the picture
slide show. My pictures are in several different resolutions and I
would like to have something that will auto size them so that they all
fit on a full screen. I have tried GQview and a few others, but so far,
I have not found anything that will do a full screen slide show and will
auto size the images. Does anyone know program that will do what I
want?
Thanks
Devin
