df stange output

The output I get from df is strange on one of my Debian boxes below is the output, drive is formatted with ext2

linux kernel 2.2.20

df
Filesystem           1k-blocks      Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda1            -6291664520193         1         0  56% /

I believe it means that there is 56% used.
