Yes. At my last place I had installed Sophos on a Debian box and
samba mounted the folks I needed to scan....It worked quite well.

I remember my worst week in IT had to do with getting hit
by some worm (memory has chosen to forget it's name) a couple years ago
and it was that scanner I had that saved us. I was able to reassonably
scan about 10 folks at a crack.

I think any of the AV software that is supported by Linux would work
for you in conjuction w/Samba.
