Subject: mounting ext2 drive as different user than root
well now, what I just did was, using samba, copied several folders from
one of the vfat drivces over to my windows machine... great, now, I'm
copying them over to the ext2 drive... Everything seems fine. So now I'm
beginning to think its all fine and dandy unless I try to do it directly
from one drive to the other.

Does that sound right? what might cause that?
