InstallFest at UAT

Going through my notes for our last look at an installfest (which turned
into the Arizona Technology Expo), Alan Dayley has experience coordinating
Sponsors

Alan, Are you still willing to deal with sponsors for Oct 25th? Again?

Who has dealt with the press releases in the past???

Who has coordinated the \volunteers in the past???

Who has coordinated the facility in the past???

Hans, Who is the contact person at UAT?

Hans, Are these "boxen's" donated by UAT all good clients only, or are any
of them candidates to serve (LTSP servers)?

The University of Advancing Technology near 48th and Baseline in Tempe has
volunteered to host an InstallFest on Saturday, the 25th of Oktober.

That's 7 weeks from tomorrow. If we're going to do this we need to have a
team to organize the event in the next few days and a press release ready b=

the end of next week.

They have a nice auditorium for presentations, a couple of classrooms with
computer desks and easy access.

We have most of the equipment we need, including a bunch of boxen we can us=
e
for the LTSP that were donated by... UAT :).

We need at least the following:

* project leader
* donations co-ordinator
* volunteer co-ordinator
* press co-ordinator

The project leader might want others.

AZOTO will be helping a lot with the presentations, but it might also be
good to have a volunteer presentation co-ordinator.
