Subject: Max Allowable Filesize
If I remember right the 2.4gb limit applied to both the kernel and any
software you are running. Samba may have to be compiled with the kernel
headers for the larger file size limitation available in the 2.4 series
kernel. Also any tools that you might be using with the larger file size
may have to be recompiled.
