WTF: whois "no match" for functioning domain

     My whois (RH 8.0) is apparently too dumb to do this automatically. B=

using the "-h server" option (as suggested) resolved the problem. (Humans=

     For anyone else following this thread, an index of top level domain=20
servers (*.com, *.org, *.sg, etc.) is available at=20
http://www.whoisservers.net/.
