I look at that and I get woozy. Why is it that the Mac can a simple
program that will return the number of gigaflops possible (it did) and
everything else is assumed for clusters and what not? Why can't it be as
easy as `cat /proc/cpuinfo` or at least a simple program that'll run
basically the same thing as the mac fractal one. If I had the source to
the mac one, I might be able to port it.
Anyone else got something SIMPLE? Or does someone want to tell me how to
do this HPL with LAM on my nice little box here beside me?

Thanks,

I use HPL with LAM to test the Gigaflops of the cluster at work. You could=
also=20
test HPL with mpich (both under Linux).
