just got a new hand me down box i.e. FREE. Its an HP pavillion 6545c.The monitor is a Packard Bell 1401s. I am running a dual boot sys with win98se and Suse 8.0pro. I can't get X working. I have googled everywhere for the monitor specs tried using knoppix for its great auto detection and am still having no luck. when X comes up it looks like 5 screens all crammed on to one. I can see the wallpaper and icons but there are five sets of them side by side. I hope this is making sense this is the best way I know how to describe it.

P.S. When is the installfest and is anyone going be doing IPAQ's ? Just got a hand me down IPAQ and want to strip MS off it.
