Postnuke vs Php-Nuke? HCR auth?

I just came across my first major point of contention with php-nuke.

If you have admin access to a php-nuke portal, go do http://~/admin.php
then log in
then click on "edit admins"
You'll see a neat series of check boxes at the bottom, one for each
module. Yes means a particular admin has access to it, no means an
admin does not.

I'm trying to add a check box.

The names in the database are hard-coded in lots of big case statements
in spaghetti.
