wireless mice work just like normal mice. Any irregularities will simply
be the protocol for X but that will probably IMPS/2. Even that is
nothing because most (all these days?) 3 button wheel mice use that
protocol. Simply put, the wireless feature is invisible to the computer
in operation.

i haven't got one yet (wireless mouse). i want to get one for my linux box=
(but wan't going to if it was difficult to do; being generally o.k. with t=
he regular mouse.) i don't have one for my windoz laptop; don't need it.
so i guess i'll try it and see how it goes.

Unless it is weird you should be good. You don't have to jump through=20
many hopes in windows to get it working do you?
I at one point was running a wirless mouse (usb) under mandrake 8.2... I=20
did not have problems with it.
