If you are seeing loads like that from only the LKML, your server is either
severely under-powered or misconfigured. I built an SA server on a dual
P-II 233 with 512MB RAM for a company of several hundred employees, and it
doesn't see anything near a 1.5 load.

What do you have SA doing? Like DCC, Razor, Pyzor, DNSBL, etc?
