My opinion, if the group wants to do an install demonstration, is to perform
the install on known hardware. A positive outlook is what you are looking
for in a demonstration. Having an installer fumbling around in frustration
because a certain piece of hardware is not recognized/functioning is not
positive. The installer should install on a box he/she is familiar with and
knows the limitations of.

I think it is a splendid idea to install linux on my box there! We should
make a sign announcing our intentions to do this. How long do you all think
it would take? I would say we should plan to do it at 2:30 and people can
come around and watch.
