Fw: AZ Technology Expo

I just got a note from Alexander Henry informing me that unless he finds a
job before the 23rd he will help. This is my response.

Thanks for helping Alex. If you can be there then it will be you and Bill (I
just got a comitment tonight). We still need someone with Linux installed on
their computer who is willing to let us use their computer. Will you let us
use yours? Bill, can we use yours? I will let you use mine if I have Linux
installed by then but because I'm going to be running Knoppix from my HD I
may not have everything you need (Hans, can you enlighten us?). It would be
really cool if we could have two machines there; one running Open Office
and the other something else. What other programs are useful in business
applications? GNU Cash? the Gimp? I don't know.
We should probably make a sign to put up pointing out the positive points of
using *nix as your operating system and open source software. As I told Rich
we are "Just a bunch of Linux users who want to share the superiority of an
open source operating system and of open source software."
What do you all think? We need an artistic volunteer to make the sign.
