Return to *nix.

Well I did a little research
(http://www.distrowatch.com/dwres.php?resource=major) and am pretty sure
that I want to stick with Mandrake. The knoppix distro has a very cool title
page but I am scared of new things! It has excellent hardware detection and
that is what I need. What it doesn't detect I can be helped with... unless
it doesn't detect my modem.I'll give that a try. With my version.
