Subject: IP Aliases and IPChains
I have a Sparc 5 that I am setting up as a router. It has only one NIC so I
have setup the interface with an alias. So I have eth0 with an IP of
192.168.1.1 and eth0:1 with an IP of 10.0.0.1. I am running a 2.2 kernel
because I can not get a 2.4 kernel to install on this box (that is a
different problem). I need to get this network running so I am trying to get
IPChains to work with the 2.2 kernel. Whenever I try to set a rule IPChains
complains about the ":" in eth0:1.

What do I have to do to get these rules to work?
