RealPlay on RedHat 9

I've seen in a few places that you have to set an environment var to get
RealPlay to work in RedHat 9. Of course now that I'm trying to get it to
work I can't find *any* pages on it. Anyone know what I have to do to
get RealPlay on RedHat 9?
