mozilla mail signature

The signature needs to be a 'plain text' file. I am not sure what you meant by
a 'document file'.

Enter the correct path to the file (ie: /home/betty/sig) and it will work.

Try:

$ echo "This is my signature" > sig

and enter the path as above and it should work fine.
