ok,
we have had a few changes of late.
the IRCD is now running Bahamut-1.4.35 (from
www.dal.net) and services are now
hosted elsewhere (nickserv, et al). still trying to get the new ircd working
on the canada box, but so far no go.
you might notice a few extra chans. my partner is in florida (he owns the
dragonweb domain) and some of what is hosted is Amateur Radio related (ARES:
Amateur Radio Emergency Services). it would probably not be a bad idea to
explore the use of linux in Amateur radio field communications (there are
some packet programs/servers available).
in any case, most of the configuration is done for now. enjoy!
