Subject: goodbye linux
hi tom;
well, i'm not very geeky, in fact i'm barely competent to use the
windoze desktops on some machines. and i'm 51 y/o , so i'm an old
learner. but i did install rh 7.3 without having to use any command line
stuff. only caveat was , i had to use an external modem.

after several months, i started playing with the command line stuff and
have been having lots of fun.

maybe using the .0 version was more difficult.

anyway, the STABILITY is why i use this as my primary machine. i've not
had any bsod since i started it. i have no virus problems, and it is
running 24/7 on an old e-machine since last fall... ;-)

i think it is good just for the stability, and good for us older people
for the intellectual challenge if we want to get into the cl stuff.
sorry you feel you have to leave, maybe you'll want to return someday...
betty i.
