Linux .config Generator?

Is there something that will "read" my system's hardware information=

(probably through /proc/cpuinfo, /proc/pci, etc...) and generate a=20
corresponding .config file for the available hardware? (I had no luck at=20
freshmeat.net and google.com/linux.)
