logrotate

Hello,

      Logrotate when left in cron.daily keeps moving or deleting my squid logs.  For me to have a 24 hour period of data in  /var/log/squid/ I have to remove logrotate from cron.daily.  I am not quite sure how to have logroate do what is usually does with all files except for the ones in /var/log/squid/ Also on the logs it has moved or rotated, is it possible to access that data, I would like to have access to some of the logs it has rotated?
