I have been using
www.access4less.net (at $6 per month after
an $8 signup fee) in Phoenix and Las Vegas. Almost no spam
after six months with them. I use Linux at home. They have
some (outdated) instructions for setting up your Linux email
or web client. (They also have a new webmail system that I
am using here from work.)
