Actually the difference between user and users (if I read mount (8)
correctly) is that user allows an ordinary user to mount/umount the file
system. Users allows any user to mount/umount the file system. In other
words- I just checked- root can mount it and any other user can unmount
it with users, but only the user who mounted it can unmount it with user.
