Subject: RealPlayer config
Hi all,

Just for grins I downloaded RealPlayer8, because many of the web sites
contain audio/video clips that I would like to play. Every time I try to
play a clip I get a nag screen telling me:

This page contains information of a type (audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin)
that can only be viewed with the appropriate Plugin.

Click OK to download Plugin.

This I have done (two or three times) without success.

It seems I'm beating my head against a wall. Firewall, that is!

Information from RealPlayer tells me:

"The Auto-Configure method automatically detects which transport methods
are available to your RealPlayer and selects the highest quality method.
If you are not sure which method to choose, click Auto Configure.
Otherwise, ask your firewall administrator which option you should
choose. You will need to know the port numbers for the UDP and TCP choices."

The problem is, I'm my firewall administrator. I have no idea where to
find the port numbers. I have a SpeedStream router which is said to have
a firewall built in, and I set up RedHat8 with moderate security, but
neither mentioned UDP,TCP, or port numbers.

Any ideas?
