The Netgear DG814 works with Qwest DSL! It auto-configures, and goes.
Thanks to everyone that offered a modem!

FWIW I'm getting D/L speeds of upto 65 KB/sec from a good server. Beats
the 5 KB/sec I got from 56K! I have the DSL 640/256 service. It's fast
enough so that I can actually D/L system updates!
