Subject: CDR and RedCrap 8
I've been with RH since...5.2. Up until 8, I thought I actually had half
a clue. alias this, ln -s that, etc... However, RH8 has effectively done
what Microsoft so loves to do - made me stupid. Change is not out of the
question - however who's to say this stupid-making trend doesn't migrate
to other distro's? You'd think I was trying to connect up a
transcontinantal bipolar digital flux generator! It's a stinking CDR!
Every other computer has one! RH makes it easy to set up everything
else, but slave in a CDR and suddenly it's DUH city. And getting used to
this GRUB crap is a new headache too - just when I get used to tweaking
LILO... I'd change, but I'm a typical geek - we don't like change. And
I've no evidence changing will do any good since the distro's seem to
love to copy each other...

Cheers,
Mike
