data/fax/voice modem question

I am trying to install a 56K modem on my server for fax server. The kudzu=
=20
seems to see the hardware as "Intel Corp. | DSVD modem". but once I am in=
=20
Redhat 8.0 I don't seem to detect any modem at all -- either through Int=
er=20
Configuration tool or through wvdialconf.

How do I configure this modem in RedHat 8.0?
